I was so pleased my new teapot arrived. I currently have a Simplex that is 25 years old and I love it. However it has been so abused, it was time for an upgrade. The quality is excellent and workmanship is beautiful. I intend to have this one for 25 years! I am never disappointed with this company and their fine products.
I was totally pleased with my No.3 kettle! Truly a functional work of art, sure to give years of service and pleasure.
Received my Newey & Bloomer Simplex Kensington No. 3 (the "Kettle") about two (2) weeks ago. The Kettle is beautiful, functional and I could not be happier with my purchase. Worth the wait too - as the craftsmanship is perfection. Would be remiss if I did not mention that Louise, in customer service, was wonderful to communicate with as well. Thank you Newey & Bloomer. .
Beautiful, solidly made, lid fits perfectly and the whistle is lovely. We use it every day for morning coffee and afternoon tea. It sits out on the cooktop as a decorative and practical part of the kitchen.
This kettle is a work of art: beautifully crafted and well formed. One smiles each morning setting this perfect object on the stove to get tea started.
