The Buckingham No.2 - Newey & Bloomer

The Buckingham No.2

  • Handcrafted in Birmingham, England since 1903 from the highest-grade copper using techniques that date back over 100 years, the Buckingham No 2 kettle is a true British classic and certainly a jewel in our crown.

With its gleaming silver-plated exterior, the Simplex kettle by Newey & Bloomer will whistle to let you know the water is ready for steeping your tea and will turn teatimes into a real occasion, bringing its exquisite good looks and sheer elegance to your next Earl Grey.

The base coil feature, designed for gas stoves, promotes swift boiling and provides superior heat retention and the Newey & Bloomer ‘hallmark’ designed spout, curved in all the right place, ensures an even pour.  Every Simplex kettle by Newey & Bloomer is proudly stamped with ‘Made in England’ as it leaves our factory and takes over a month to produce.

    • Copper is an exceptional material in the kitchen and, when maintained properly, your Simplex tea kettle can be expected to last for generations.

    Do Not:

    • Let the Simplex tea kettle boil dry
    • Clean with any acidic cleaning agents
    • Scrub with steel wool or abrasive cleaning cloths/brushes or pads as this can lead to irreparable damage.
